Samyang Genex made a contract with MacroMed, US pharmaceutical research company, that Genexol(R), the trademark of anticancer agent paclitaxel which is produced by Samyang Genex's unique plant cell culture, will be commercialized using MacroMed's drug delivery system (DDS).
MacroMed has already developed more than five DDSs and will make clinical trials of ReGel formulated Genexol next year.
